Children’s TV for NHNZ

Dunedin’s NHNZ is preparing to take on the likes of Disney with the launch of its own international children’s television channel. NHNZ managing director Kyle Murdoch said, in preparation for the launch of the channel next February, 54 staff were hard at work in Dunedin producing content for it. About 40 were new staff who had joined the office since the middle of this year.

    ODT: ‘Great’ China deal for NHNZ
    NHNZ will sign the co-production agreement with China Central Television (CCTV) in coming weeks allowing it to officially co-produce five more projects. One of those projects is a further 60 episodes of ZooMoo Animal Friends, which was the No 1 show in its time slot in China for the age 4 to 14 demographic last month, and was viewed by more than 252 million people.
