Which councillors need media training – oops, one is a radio personality so what’s his excuse. Rhetorical.

If these two whimps can’t stand the heat they should stay out of the kitchen

Didn’t Cr Collins say not so long ago “We were voted in so we should make the decisions”

  4. “If these two whimps can’t stand the heat they should stay out of the kitchen”

and what was it Cr Acklin said “These meetings are only attended by people that have made up their minds that they don’t want the stadium to proceed. If I thought for a moment that they genuinely wanted to hear from me, I would be there”.

So they go along for the likes of you to yell, snare or abuse – oh so productive.

and BTW “We were voted in so we should make the decisions” yes they were. You didn’t vote with the stadium in mind – oh diddums.

I quite like the idea of ‘snaring’ Crs Bill Acklin and Neil Collins – this might be the only way to get them to the Caversham meeting with their constituents. Thanks for the lead, Paul.

As I say, they’ve had a long time, as have all pro and anti stadium councillors to meet with the people of their wards to discuss the stadium project.

I will say, again: Cr Richard Walls has made every effort to bring information to the people. He has been consistently timely in reply and contributed professionally to the picture. His experience and integrity as a councillor and a politician stand him in very good stead.
People can make their minds up on the information given.

Crs Acklin and Collins have shot themselves in the feet with their latest comments. Poor things.

Dave Cull has an opinion piece in tomorrow’s ODT. He knows how to string a word or two, and a few arguments. Looking forward.
